The Cape Cod Summer House is an emblematic example of Breuer's clean-cut, nature-inspired architecture, representing the modernist ideal. Until recently, the building was threatened with demolition. A fundraiser was organized to save and renovate the house, to which the HMAMPDC also contributed. The museum purchased a photographic material, as well as several pieces of furniture that survived in the cottage.

Now you can have a taste of modernism and the spirit of the Wellfleet summers in your neighborhood too!

The program is supported by FabLab Budapest and JAF Holz Hungary, and is an official event of the Budapest Design Week Festival 2025.
