On 10 May (Wednesday), the Board of Trustees of the Rudolf Lábán Prize will present the independent professional award for the best Hungarian contemporary dance performance of 2022.
This time, three performances were nominated:
Anna Biczók's performance Delicate, which explores the phenomenon of memories carried by the body through the personalities of a Russian, an Austrian and a Hungarian dancer.
Viktor Szeri's solo Fatigue, which deals with the physical and psychological manifestations of burnout.
And Harmonia by Unusual Symptoms from Bremen and Adrienn Hód (founder of HODWORKS), a joint exploration of the diversity of the human physicality.
This year, the Board of Trustees will award a special prize to Boglárka Börcsök for her documentary film The art of movement and the related visual art installation and theatre performance.
