In life, things rarely go according to plan. It often happens that everyone wants to talk at the same time, so we don't hear each other. Living together in one space when we are different is not so easy... Burlesque and absurd, Baro d'evel is a story about the vertigo of living together, a life in which you can always improvise, rethink and ultimately, whatever happens, life goes on...

In this ever-changing space, man, woman and bird try to stay together, but only in a dangerous but joyful imbalance. It is as if everything in this world exists only to be disturbed or transgressed. A joy play, heartwarming and poetic, like a surreal dream.

Là is the first part of a diptych, a kind of prologue that introduces its spectators to the wordless world of Baro d'evel, a stripped-down, raw world; which, despite its apparent barrenness, is life itself. Baro d'evel is a Franco-Catalan duo with a unique language, formed by Blaï Mateu Trias, son of Catalan clowns, and Camille Decourtye, who grew up among horses and caravans. The essentially circus troupe has been active since 2000, touring the world, and Camille and Blaï Mateu, the founders and performers, are joined on the Trafó stage by Gus, the jokey shield crow.
