Cine-Collegium Budapest Roundtable

The Budapest International Film Festival considers it important to start a conversation about the division that characterizes the whole society, but already permeates the Hungarian film industry, and its effects. Due to political, financier, institutional and other factors, fault lines and ditches stretch in the Hungarian film community, while a global crisis and compulsion to make a living also push our shoulders. How to navigate this situation, what is the responsibility of the individual, where to draw our own boundaries, what aspects do we make professional decisions at all? At the CCB roundtable, we invited Hungarian filmmakers to think about these issues together.
