Schedule

How did the Egyptians worship their gods in temples and homes? What questions, fears, and problems preoccupied them, and how did they try to overcome them? What foods did they eat to satisfy their hunger, and what drinks did they consume to quench their thirst? What do our sources reveal about their education or justice systems? How did they view gender roles, love, and the institution of family? What practices did they use to ward off various diseases, and once trouble struck, how did they remedy their health problems?

During ten interactive guided tours on different topics, we will not only reveal the lesser-known side of ancient Egypt, but also create a living connection between the people of antiquity and today!

Participation in the event on November 8 is recommended for those over the age of 18.
