During the 60-minute guided tours, we explore a specific theme with visitors: we present the everyday life, writing, gods, rulers, and afterlife beliefs of the ancient Egyptians.

The guided tours are linked to the first volume of the Museum of Fine Arts' series Eras in the Museum, which is unique in that it allows readers to learn about the ancient Egyptian civilization that flourished for thousands of years through the artifacts of the Egyptian Collection.

The program is recommended for ages 9 and up.

Additional ticket price: HUF 1,500

In addition to the additional ticket, a valid admission ticket to the exhibition is also required.

A pocket book presenting the exhibition, entitled Ancient Egypt, is available in the Museum Shop.

The Museum of Fine Arts presents monuments of universal and Hungarian art from antiquity to the end of the 18th century. As part of the Heroes' Square monument complex, it is one of Budapest's World Heritage Sites.
