On the occasion of Halloween, All Saints' Day, and All Souls' Day, we invite our visitors to a thought-provoking and spine-tingling themed tour. We will evoke the memory of saints and martyrs, learn what the skulls in paintings with a "memento mori" theme warn us about, and how mourning, respect, and belief in the afterlife are intertwined in the images of the deceased and the epitaphs erected in their memory. On the eve of All Saints' Day, mystical and eerie details come to the fore!

The guided tour will be led by Ágnes Mertus, art historian and museum educator.
VISITING INFORMATION
The program can be visited with a supplementary ticket costing HUF 1,500, purchased in addition to any admission ticket to any exhibition at the museum.
It's better to buy a Szépmű Permanent Pass! Come more often, see more, and get to know the museum better!
Pass holders only need to purchase the supplementary ticket for guided tours of the permanent and graphic exhibitions, as they already have their admission ticket.
