Mozart's opera is a fairy tale for adults. The fabulous elements, Tamino and Pamina's trials, Papageno's laugh-out-loud scenes, and, last but not least, Mozart's enchanting music are perfect for bringing children closer to the world of opera. All that is needed is to present the work to them in an appropriate way. János Lackfi, the excellent poet and practicing father, helped us to rethink and rewrite The Magic Flute specifically for younger audiences. We are ready to welcome the little ones to the stage!

Hungarian State Opera
The Hungarian State Opera House is the only theatre in Hungary with a large company, specialising in operas and ballets. The building is one of Budapest's most important 19th century monuments. It was built in neo-Renaissance style according to the plans of Miklós Ybl. The richly decorated interior was designed by renowned Hungarian artists, including Mór Than, Károly Lotz and Bertalan Székely.
