Schedule

Máklikőr is the only up-and-coming band playing post-Mesopotamian Balkan rock. Their songs tell novella-like stories, or say the same things as everyone else, but in a way that no one else has done before. Their concerts are captivatingly awkward, and it's clear that the guys love each other, their music, and everyone who listens to them. Máklikőr won the Hangfoglaló 2025 Emerging Artist Grant, the Peron Music Hungary talent search special prize, and the audience award at the Veszprém Street Music Festival. In the summer of 2025, they will give concerts at more than twenty different venues, including Fishing on Orfű, Bánkitó, Művészetek Völgye, Ördögkatlan, Campus, and SZIN festivals, as well as at the Hungarian House of Music, in Germany, and in Slovakia

Location

A38 Ship

Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
