Closing guided tour of the exhibition Impulses by Miklós Szőcs TUI and Zoltán Rockenbauer

Miklós Szőcs is a sculptor who has been awarded the TUI Munkácsy Mihály Prize, the Prima Primissima Prize, and the Kossuth Prize. He often creates his works from special, rare woods and plywood. The spiritual and formal background of his art is provided by his study of the religious and intellectual history of Eastern and Western high cultures. His work is characterized by a deep respect for wood and a search for spiritual content. In his own words: "From the very beginning, the spiritual foundation of my work has been guaranteed by the alignment of my personal motivations with the collective wisdom of universal Tradition."
