Block Party | Déri street neighbourhood party

2023-05-25T14:00:00.000Z

We want as many people as possible to get to know the cultural and creative scene of the 8th district.

In order to make the event truly diverse, we have approached many businesses from the district, including creative artists and businesses (Eight and a Half, Artmagazine, ISBN Book+Gallery, Petramondta, Verkstaden, Contemporary Jewellery Studio, Pilea Project, AndreaArt, Ceramate Studio), as well as drip.pizza, MTRM Roast and Borháló, and DJ Svmmit will be joining us for the music.

Our event space will host a pop-up exhibition of the artists of Eight and a Half, with paintings by Gabriella Kovács, Imola Nelli Szilágyi and Réka Csorba.

For adults, Creative Cables will hold a lamp design competition and workshop, the Loffice team will show what coworking is all about, and little ones can show off their creativity in the kids' corner with a colouring competition.

During the evening, we'll have an English quiz party with two stand-ups, Kitti Nagy and Albert Ertl, to appeal to expats in the area.
