Guided tour of the exhibition Before the Storm – Taiwan on the Border Between Past and Future
Fifteen years after the first exhibition of contemporary art from Taiwan, the Ludwig Museum presents a new overview of contemporary art from the island nation and, indirectly, of the experiences and dilemmas that define Taiwan's past, present, and future.

Schedule
The selection features works by twenty internationally renowned artists and creative groups who address important topics such as the cultural heritage of indigenous peoples, the lasting traces of colonization, Taiwan's rich and traumatic history at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, the formation of modern Taiwanese identity and values, and the technology-based economy and society of the present and future.

Ludwig Museum
The Ludwig Museum - Museum of Contemporary Art, located in Müpa, is the first museum in Hungary to exclusively collect contemporary art. In addition to a permanent exhibition of the collection donated by the Ludwigs and a number of temporary exhibitions, the museum aims to raise awareness of the works and their creators through special publications and a variety of art education and art education programmes.
