One Is Not Born, but Becomes - Zine launch
Ágota Mucsi’s graduation project is a reflection on the transition into adulthood. What began as research into eating disorders and body dysmorphia has expanded into a collaborative dialogue with Janka Sólyom for the exhibition One Is Not Born, but Becomes. Within this installation, Mucsi’s photographic series and Sólyom’s soundscape merge to explore the friction of self-actualization and the external pressures that mold identity.

The exhibition’s publication captures this "in-between" state—a moment when the safety of childhood is dissolving into a blur, and the definitive edges of adulthood are only beginning to emerge.
The opening will feature a talk moderated by the exhibition’s curator, Eszter Albert, in conversation with the artists, Ágota Mucsi and Janka Sólyom.
