Imitáció
Jancsovics' installation Orsolya Imitation deals with the issues of „imitation ” and „identification ”, thinking further of its previous, Disguise. artificial ensemble. The camouflage is interpreted by the creator as a fusion: „as a dress in nature ”, as a gesture of return to the beginnings, to mother nature. The garments here are not related to the world of consumption, but to the archaic knowledge of tribal communities, the experience of togetherness and unity with nature. An individual who comes in contact with the „magic object ” can immerse himself in the flow experience, lose control over time, and encounter his own inner rhythm again.

Schedule
Hanging work tensions such as civilization – culture, urbanization – nature, contemporary – archaic, and male – female. The relationship between man and woman appears not only in a formal but also in a technical sense: it merges into a kind of androgün creation; the masculine frame construction often used in sculpture is combined with a softer female raffia weaving. The degradable raw materials of the work themselves evoke the cycle of nature.
After Orsolya Jancsovics' study trip to China, she was permanently committed to sculpture. The art and philosophy of Far Eastern culture has had an impact on his work ever since. He is interested in everything that is past, that is ancient. However, this does not mean a simple recollection of the past or traditionalism. For him, inheriting values always goes hand in hand with constant change and dynamism: the synthesis of the past and the present, and perhaps even the intuition of the future.
In his previous works, he has already dealt with issues related to gravity concerning sculpture, such as balance and the risk of collapse. His work is often characterized by performativity while examining border situations and the extent of an individual’s subject.
