Kale Lulugyi aims to promote authentic Romani music. Their songs blend Hungarian, Upper Hungarian, Székely, and Romani folk melodies with elements of world music, jazz, and rock. Their repertoire spans from Nagyecsed to Spain, and they are truly an authentic band playing Romani and world music that caters to everyone, from young to old. This is evidenced by the fact that the band is now multigenerational, with father and son playing together. In their view, music has the power to connect people and bring together the most diverse social groups and subcultures,
at least for the duration of a concert.
