BOK Hall
The BOK Sports Hall is a sports and event hall located in the XIV. district of Budapest. Formerly known as SAP Hall (2000-2003) and SYMA Sports and Events Centre (2003-2016).
The hall was built after the Budapest Sport Hall burnt down in 1999. From 2000 to 2003 it was known as SAP. The building is one of the most modern event centres in Hungary. More than 120 events are held here every year. The building has hosted Kati Kovács, Charlie, Keresztes Ildikó, Tankcsapda, Guy Moore and Morcheeba, as well as numerous professional exhibitions and sporting events. The centre can accommodate up to 10 000 people, but conference rooms have capacities ranging from 120 to 250 people, 80 to 120 people and 15 to 30 people.
In 2014, the state took the initiative to expropriate the hall, which was eventually acquired through a sale and purchase.
