Közös nevezőn | csoportos kiállítás
On the Common Denominator is the follow-up to the group exhibition Safe Space, held in the framework of the Budapest Pride Festival 2022, and an attempt to explore one of the themes raised in the context of the exhibition.
The exhibitors of Safe Space are all members of the LGBTQ community, but they also reflect on their own sexual orientation as contemporary artists, so the group exhibition was conceived not only as a showcase but also as a space for connection, for thinking together and sharing experiences. The exhibitors in the soon-to-open Common Denominator are also members of the LGBTQ community whose art regularly or periodically focuses on, or is inextricably linked to, the representation of this experience.

Egy olyan világméretű közösségnek, amelynek a teljes keretrendszerét a szexuális orientációk negatív megkülönböztetése hozta létre, és próbálja azt azóta is változatlanul tartani, könnyen érthető, hogy miért a szexuális orientációk sokféleségének kérdésköre a leginkább kiemelt, legközvetítettebb témája. Ezért a Biztonságos Tér kiállítás koncepciójának kialakításánál is fontosnak éreztük, hogy először ehhez a meghatározó témakörhöz kapcsolódjunk.
A Közös nevezőn látható válogatásban ismét olyan művészek fognak bemutatkozni, akik alkotásainak állandó vagy visszatérő témái között szerepel a szexuális orientáció is. Az idei évben a Budapest Pride Fesztiváli programunk azáltal fog az elődjéhez és az ünnepléshez is méltón kapcsolódni, hogy a kiállításon kifejezetten olyan művek kerülnek középpontba, amelyek arra az egyértelműségre hívják majd fel a figyelmet, hogy az LMBTQ közösség tagjai a szexualitás témakörén kívül is számtalan más módon kapcsolódnak és kapcsolódhatnak egymáshoz.
