"Life is the essential expression of the nature of our universe." (Jostein Gaarder) An extraordinary meeting of feelings and emotions. Naturalness, purity, because Bartók understood the pure source to be the primordial, untouched folk music, which he considered to be of supreme value.

The presentation focuses on protecting and appreciating the beauty of our environment and our soul, our inner beauty. We can follow the constant formation, rearrangement and building of the human group and community of dancers.
Through the performance, we would like to present the Bhartian spirituality through some typical folk music collections, with a special focus on the relationship between music and dance. The performance would be dominated by a partly traditional and partly experimental approach, with Dezső Oláh Trio playing Bartók's adaptation of 15 peasant songs for percussion, bass and piano.
They would like to give the audience a new approach to the fusion of modern jazz and modern dance, in a form in which the compositions reflect on Bartók's folk music collections, based on the works he made from them. For this collective journey, we will use the treasure trove of folk songs collected for the creation of Béla Bartók's 15 Peasant Songs, such as I tie my horse, Kit blossom my rose gave me and Aj, I must ripen the wheat or Blue forget-me-nots leaned on my shoulder.

National Dance Theatre
On 15 February 2019, Budapest's unique new cultural arena opened its doors: the new National Dance Theatre in Millenáris Park. The building, equipped with the latest theatre technology and featuring unique architectural solutions, offers two theatre halls and a chamber hall for dance lovers, as well as rehearsal rooms for professional dancers. The foyer of the building will also become a community space open to visitors to the park, giving Millenáris the opportunity to become even more part of the capital's bloodstream.
