BUDAPEST PERFORMANCE - DANCES - Duna Dance
A landscape preserves the imprints of different eras, concentrating the past and present of the landscape depicted, the clear forms of nature. The same can be said of the dancer's body, which benefits from the artist's enrichment of life experiences: it increases his metamorphic capacity, his vital energies are intensified, more concentrated and expressive.

The creators were inspired by the work of prominent choreographers such as Pina Bausch and Jiří Kylián, who created pieces with experienced, no longer active dancers, realising the profound expressiveness of the ageing body. Duna Dance Workshop's new show also aims to prove that being a dancer is not a prerequisite for being young.
Artists from a wide range of dance backgrounds have been invited to participate in the performance, as the bodies of dancers who have been working in different genres for many years paint different landscapes.

National Dance Theatre
On 15 February 2019, Budapest's unique new cultural arena opened its doors: the new National Dance Theatre in Millenáris Park. The building, equipped with the latest theatre technology and featuring unique architectural solutions, offers two theatre halls and a chamber hall for dance lovers, as well as rehearsal rooms for professional dancers. The foyer of the building will also become a community space open to visitors to the park, giving Millenáris the opportunity to become even more part of the capital's bloodstream.
