Zajnal
Zajnal does not turn towards the contemporary from folk music, and not vice versa: folk and urban influences have always been present in parallel in the lives of the members, so their production is not a search, but an imprint. They play eclectic, urban music - designer folk. Their story began in 2015 as a flute and guitar duo, and for the past five years the band has been adding a cajon and bass guitar. All four members come from different ages and backgrounds, so the influences in their music are diverse, from Miles Davis to Panthera.

Schedule
"It is no longer a great fless to support motifs played on analogue folk instruments with drum-bass foundations or electronics from the pop-rock tradition, but to combine these musical traditions with such naturalness and enjoyment, as Zajnal does, is still not a common experience in Hungary", wrote the Recorder about them.
In 2020, they were selected for the Szimpla Lemming programme, and in 2020 they were awarded the Discoverer of the Year prize at the Joy of Music talent contest. Their latest single, Sötétkamra, was premiered on 14 October at the A38 - the music video for the single, Csillagánizs, was also featured in the competition programme of the Klipszemle.
