Schedule

The band's diverse line-up includes Hungarian jazz bassist Péter Papesch, Italian drummer Santino Scavelli and Latvian accordionist Aleksej Maslakov. They will be joined by special guests from Hungary at Lakvar's first concert in Hungary, on the open-air stage of the House of Music. Violinist Luca Kézdy, percussionist Kornél Mogyoró and singer Sára Horváth Nina will add their talents to the already diverse and unique sound for which the band is known.

Lakvar's music is a beautiful interplay of light and dark, combining moments of silence and fragility with soaring, complex melodies and improvisation. The group takes the musical risk of breaking the boundaries and limits of tradition and breaking new ground.
