La belle époque (2019)

An ageing French couple is going through a relationship crisis. The wife is boisterous and self-confident, while the husband is increasingly desperate and self-pitying. A friend of his son runs a successful and unique business: offering time travel to his clients. Using actors and sets, he creates the atmosphere and circumstances of the chosen era, and the time traveller, who pays a hefty price, can enjoy the perfectly recreated atmosphere of the 18th century or even the Second World War for as long as his wallet can afford. The young man offers the increasingly depressed man the chance to go back in time for a day on a day of his choosing... Which day will he choose? Will he want to return to the present? Can this time travel save his marriage?
