How can research be an engine for social change? How can a person who has never graduated from university be a researcher? How can we incorporate artistic tools into research?

Participatory Action Research (PAR) is a specific approach whereby people involved in a topic investigate the reality around them in order to understand and then change it.
During the workshop, we will learn about digital storytelling. Participants will be able to experience for themselves how the verbalisation of personal stories and their digital representation, as well as the creative process itself, can help us to find and explore our research questions in a community-based research process. The theoretical background of the method and its research utility will be discussed through practical examples.
