Schedule
On October 7th, we are delighted to invite you to our 'THE BIG RUGS FAIR' in Fabrika! We are waiting for you with many new items and some cold bubbly!
Thanks to the huge amount of interest you all have expressed, ANNA KATALIN LOVRITY the founder of 'Rugs by Annakatalin' will visit us that day to dazzle us all with her unique, hand-made wool carpets. Balancing on the border of figurativism and abstractivism, there are brave patterns which can be used in exciting ways to decorate your floors or your walls, her bright colours are made with plant-based dyes. We have waited over a year for these new carpets, which will be shown in Fabrika for the first time!
To top it all of, we will have ESZTER RÉVÉSZ, textile artist and the founder of 'Dreaming Threads', with her soft and exciting hand made carpets and individual pillows, which are a joy to live with! The pillow and carpet creations are all made with natural fabrics and traditional patterns mixed with contemporary designs.
We will also introduce ERIKA BALOGH, furniture painter, whose new studio gallery awaits you with hand-painted, individual pieces of beautiful furniture. Her motto is “I will never paint the same pattern and the same piece of furniture twice”. We share her ethos and spirit…
To spice things up, we will also have Fabrika’s furniture and lampa on sale that day!
The items shown by our exhibitors will only be available for sale that day, they are unique and one-off items, be there or be square!
The event is pet and child friendly, and entrance is free.

FABRIKA STUDIO
FABRIKA merges our passion for furniture design and treasure hunting with evionmeltally contious approach. We procure, save and upcycle old pieces of furniture, because we are enchanted by their secrets and we decided to continue their stories. We are in love with quality design from the past decades, so we are constantly searching for forgotten, discarded pieces, sometimes in dark corners of sheds or in the light of the rising sun on flea markets. We follow the traditional approach to furniture refurbishment, combining it with new, honest methods. Who needs new things when there are already enough beautiful objects in the world?
