What happens at the workshop?
We will immerse ourselves in a live improvisational stage movement of short sketches that may entertain, make you think or even laugh. Learning the techniques of the genre is an experiential process, bringing you together with others and teaching you about life. The workshops draw from basic improv as well as experimenting with the subtleties of the genre with the participants.
What is Open Stage?
A new form! Where, on the day the team for the evening's performance will be revealed, workshop participants can also take their place as players, and improvisational theatre actors who rarely/never meet each other take to the stage and improvise short scenes. As an element of the format, two improvisers/trainers/directors from different companies will think aloud about the scenes during the evening, they will be called as professional judges and may sometimes engage in heated discussion with the audience.
At the end of the Open Stage, the best sketches of the night will be revealed.
Lumen Café
A café and restaurant in the Mikszáth area, the big brother of KisLumen, where you can enjoy not only food and drinks but also culture. Especially jazz and other music for the mind.
