Príma Donnák - Komlósi Ildikó
Gala evening with Hungarian and English subtitles

Schedule
Ildikó Komlósi is the Hungarian mezzo-soprano with the greatest international career of recent decades. However, she has also sung on the stages of the Hungarian State Opera House since February 1983, 40 years ago. Her international career began when she won the Pavarotti Singing Competition in 1986 and she had the privilege of making her debut with the legendary singer in Verdi's Requiem. A regular guest artist in the world's major opera houses, he is one of the most accomplished interpreters of Judith in The Bluebeard's Castle, both at home and abroad. In 2016, she was awarded the title of Chamber Singer and subsequently the Kossuth Prize, and by the time these lines go to press, she has performed 250 opera performances in 23 different roles in our theatres alone. So she has plenty to choose from when she looks back over the last four decades. On her one-off evening, she will present a special programme and a particularly personal programme.
