The protagonist of the story of the Brothers Grimm is the beautiful Princess Aurora, who at birth is cursed by a wicked witch: according to the curse, before she becomes adult, she will be killed by the sting of a poisoned needle! Her father entrusts her fate to three good-hearted fairies who will do everything they can to prevent the curse from happening, but in vain. They can’t even avoid the fate, but only mitigate the effect of the evil witch’s curse: when she strikes herself on Aurora, she doesn’t die, but falls into a long sleep from which only a prince’s loving kiss can awaken her.
