On the weekend when the city of Budapest celebrates its 150th birthday, we invite you to the art and literary festival that revisits the city's bohemian past, celebrating the city's enduring reputation as a hotbed of artistic innovation. The festival ***“Legend of Ethereal Budapest: Unveiling Stories from the Underground” ***gains a deeper sense of connection to the city's past, enriching the experience for both artists and visitors alike. It allows both participants and guests to transcend time and space, embracing the echoes of the past eras while forging new legends that resonate in the hearts of all who partake in this journey.

The program of the art festival includes:
- launch of issue 11 of the Panel magazine;

- poetry writing workshop inspired on artworks about Budapest by “Budapest Poetry Collective” and Alexa Fermeglia;

- “Sweet Underbelly” – a surreal story, made of memories and visions, told with animation and AR technologies (creators – Maria Gyarmati, Esther Holbrook, Isabelle Ramond);

- art project “The Jean-Pierreists” by Oscar Zárraga and Maxence Ferré;

- The Budapest Statue art workshop with the artist and art teacher Olga Lo;

- dance performance, inspired by poetry at Panel magazine and produced by Maria Gyarmati;

- AR portal - transporting participants to a virtual dimension where they can interact with digital art elements in real-world surroundings (producer - Maria Gyarmati);

Szimpla Garden
One of Budapest's most famous venues is the Szimpla Kert. Although nowadays it is clearly designed for tourists, this doesn't change the fact that there are few places where you can experience the old ruin pub feeling.
