VIII Italian Gastronomy Week: the Cagliari market
Cagliari Market
(documentary with Hungarian subtitles)
The San Benedetto market in Cagliari, the capital of the province of Sardinia, is one of the largest fresh produce markets in Europe and is also considered the largest fish market in Europe. It is a paradise for food lovers, where every vendor is accompanied by a fabulous story. The stalls are bursting with artichokes and cheeses and the fish selection is breathtaking. Clams, tuna, bottarga, saffron and lentil oil make this market second to none.
