BEST OF ILLUSTRATION FESTIVAL EXHIBITION AT THE 3RD BUDAPEST ILLUSTRATION FESTIVAL
The task of the book illustration cannot be the same as that of the picture on the wall, because it is an integral part of the book, it illuminates and clarifies the essence.
This year, the Budapest Illustration Festival will be held for the third time, with the aim of representing and renewing the art of illustration in Hungary in 2019. As part of the festival, the Best of Illustration Festival Exhibition will take place.
Schedule
Illustration is one of the most dynamic, evolving and innovative branches of contemporary visuality. Its aim is to encourage the catching up of Hungarian literary illustration with the world's leading literary illustration through a biennial (biennial) competition, exhibition and related events; to give visibility to young talent and, in the longer term, to represent Hungarian illustration internationally.
During the Festival, professional programmes (workshops, book launches) will be organised at MOMÉ and Krea Design School, which can be found on the event's Facebook page:
