Urban Fauna - Punching Workshop with Réka Vidra
During this workshop we are going to work with the shapes, forms and colours of Réka Vidra's exhibition Urban Fauna, which is currently on view in Kastner Kommunity. The goal is to create a "mini-wall tapestry", similar to the ones displayed at the venue.

Schedule
Join to experience cozy Autumn vibes, the joy of creating together and learning a new artistic technique. We will make a "mini-wall tapestry" with a diameter of 16 cm using the punching / punch needle technique under the guidance of visual artist Réka Vidra.
Réka prepared a unique piece for this workshop and she will drive you through the method in a 4-hour session. At the end, you will have your very own fluffy magic in your hands done by yourself. The pattern to be created during the workshop was inspired by the city's Martens - just like the marten family appearing in the exhibition. 🐾
Only secondhand yarns are used during the process.
If you want, you can also bring your own pre-drawn pattern - in this case, please drop an email to Reka before the workshop so that she can prepare with the necessary materials.
No prior training is required to participate.
The duration of the workshop is 4 hours (from 10 am to 2 pm).
Maximum number of participants: 8 people.
The workshop starts with a minimum of 4 people.
Participation fee: 8,000 HUF/person (student, pensioner price) - **10,000 HUF/person **(normal price), that includes the materials, the mentoring and a breakfast in the coffee bar.
