Now the time has come and Die Antwoord announces the REANIMATION tour, which will see the South African duo back in Budapest on 12 April 2024 at the Barba Negra Red Stage.
Ninja says: "We've been working so long in private that some people thought we were dead!" -¥o-Landi adds, "That's why we decided to call our new EU/UK tour DIE ANTWOORD, REANIMATED!"
But this doesn't just mean a few live shows, where audiences will once again discover that songs like I Fink U Freeky, Baby's On Fire and Ugly Boy are incredible mind-blowing rave-rap bangers.
At the same time, the band have also released a trailer for their new documentary, ZEF The Story of Die Antwoord. The film is produced and directed by South African filmmaker Jon Day. The artwork in the film was created by South African artist Roger Ballen, whose work was a major influence on the early
aesthetics of early videos and records. The documentary is narrated by Ninja and his ¥o-land daughter, Sixteen Jones. Die Antwoord have also included their sixth album, UIT DE HEMEL GEVALLEN, which will be released in 2024.
