Audio guide for children
With a playful, illustrated map and an easy-to-use, child-friendly audioguide, children can explore the museum's collections for themselves. Youngsters will be guided through the Gallery's most famous works by King Matthias, a famous former resident of Buda Castle, and court historian Antonio Bonfini. The exciting museum walk will introduce children to the world of paintings, exploring 16 works of art. The adult and children's audio guides overlap, allowing families to explore our collections together using the devices.

The children's audioguide is available for hire at the information desk between 10.00 and 16.00.

Hungarian National Gallery
The Hungarian National Gallery is the largest public collection documenting and presenting fine art in Hungary. The permanent exhibitions of the museum, located in the Buda Castle Palace complex, showcase the most important works of Hungarian art, including masterpieces by Master MS, Pál Szinyei Merse, Mihály Munkácsy, József Rippl-Rónai and Dóra Maurer.
