SOFTNESS OF MY NATURE

Judit Ágnes Gallai and Annamária Gáspár are two remarkable artists of the thirties generation, who have been working together for several years on their joint exhibition. The two artists, with their distinct and powerful visual worlds, aim to symbolically represent themes such as self-reflection, caring, connection to subconscious content, trauma processing, experiencing the vulnerability of ourselves and our human relationships, adaptation and the ability to create from ourselves. The works encourage us to experience the creative power that comes from facing ourselves and from resilience.

Softness and sensitivity have begun to gain a positive image in the context of recent changes in social thinking, although it is not clear how to assert these qualities in our masculinist world. In their art, Judit Ágnes Gallai and Annamária Gáspár aim to explore the positive power of actions that were often considered weak or secondary, combined with a symbolic representation that draws on the visionary world of dreams and visions.

With a distinct and powerful visual world, the artists, who have a strong visual identity, have also made significant paintings, stepping out into space and creating installations, objects and textile art alongside experiments in materials. Building on years of collaborative work, their monumental exhibition invites visitors to a self-reflective immersion rather than social actionism, drawing attention to the need to start at the level of the individual rather than the community.
