This time, we will use the graphic process of monotype to illustrate poems in the adult session of the Picts Analogue Circle on 6 January.

Bring a poem you like and adapt it as an impression of your own world in the form of one or more images. Translate the colourful word pictures of the lyric into visual works of art, immerse yourself in the visual world of your imagination, analyse the poem through the filter of imagery!
Briefly, about monotype:
A printmaking process that is both a mixture of graphic intent and painterly accident. It can be applied in a variety of ways, by spreading paint on a sheet of plexiglass, then placing a piece of paper on top of it and drawing on the back, with the process ending with a paint print of your lines on the other side of the sheet. There are many possibilities, and this is just one example! If you're curious to learn more about the technical mysteries, feel free to join the session!
