Send a sigh to the Sigh Collection!
Make a short short video and send your sigh to the collection. It can be a phone recording or a professional recording, all we ask is that you take a picture in landscape format and preferably with the audio of the video. The ideal format is FULL HD (1920x1080) recording, but we can handle converting anything else.
Endre Koronczi has been collecting sighs since 2010.
The collection first appeared in 2011 in the exhibition Hard to Ask Questions (http://www.koronczi.hu/haq/14sightcollection/index.html). Since then, the Sighs collection has grown to include many more sighs, and the latest version will be on display at the GODOT Institute of Contemporary Art early next year (https://www.godot.hu/).
You can submit your recording via any online channel (email, messenger, file transfer):
"There is no perfect joy in the world, but there is no perfect sadness either, for even in the greatest sadness one sighs, and the sigh is pleasant. I am grateful to nature for the sigh and I am sorry that I don't know how many sighs I have had in my whole life. I would like to read them all and thank the good Lord especially. To sigh deeply, one must lift one's head, perhaps to see the sky."
