Spring Sacrifice - Wedding - The 30 years old Bozsik Yvette Company
For the 100th anniversary of the premiere of Le Sacre du printemps in 1913, the Bozsik Yvette Company has created a revival of The Sacrifice of Spring, with renewed costumes, scenography and choreography, commissioned by the National Dance Theatre.

Among the music from Igor Stravinsky's Russian period, The Spring Sacrifice evokes ancient rituals, its brutal barbarism foretelling catastrophes. The original choreography takes as its starting point the Russian ritual world of the legendary Nijinsky and Nijinska, combining it with the choreographer's own style and the emotions of the present day. The Yvette Bozsik Company is 30 years old this year, and the production celebrates this anniversary.

National Dance Theatre
On 15 February 2019, Budapest's unique new cultural arena opened its doors: the new National Dance Theatre in Millenáris Park. The building, equipped with the latest theatre technology and featuring unique architectural solutions, offers two theatre halls and a chamber hall for dance lovers, as well as rehearsal rooms for professional dancers. The foyer of the building will also become a community space open to visitors to the park, giving Millenáris the opportunity to become even more part of the capital's bloodstream.
