Schedule

Analog Balaton is an electronic music duo based in Budapest. The duo of Aba Zsuffa and Ákos Vörös combines the melodicism of pop/rock with the monotony of electronic music, their lyrics are the imprint of dawns and mornings that have slipped away.

In the six years of their existence, the band has played at festivals such as Sziget Festival, Balaton Sound, Volt Festival, Strand Festival, Fishing On Orfű, Bánkitó, Campus, Fekete Zaj and Kolorádó, and they have also played as guests for Punnany Massif, Elefánt, Vad Fruttik and Zagar. They were also asked to open for Bonobo, Weval and Bob Moses.

Although the band has been active since 2017, their first album was not released until 2021, but their audience has grown steadily. Their debut albums, Lent, were presented to a near sell-out crowd at the Akvárium Klub's Great Hall, filling the Turbina two nights in a row, as well as selling out the A38 Ship months in advance.

Lent was not only loved by the public: it was among the best albums in most of the year-end charts in Hungary, and won the Petőfi Music Award for Electronic Music Artist of the Year. After Lent, they didn't have to wait a year and released the single "Slide Down", which was celebrated with a sold-out record release show at the Akvárium Nagyhall and a country tour.

Location

A38 Ship

Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
