Spinning Wednesday dance lessons and dance house: dances of Méhkerék
We are looking for beginners and advanced dancers who would like to deepen their knowledge of the dances of a particular region in weekly dance classes. The live music lessons run in parallel in beginner and advanced groups, and end with a joint singing lesson, a dance and a dance house. All are welcome with or without a couple!

The Romanian dance order from the Beeherék was already very popular in the early days of the dance house movement in Budapest. Ferenc Sebő and Béla Halmos were almost the first to get acquainted with the music and dances of this Romanian settlement in Békés County. The village of Méhkerék, belonging to the most western branch of Romanian dance culture, the Bihar dance dialect, is the only village in Hungary where the Romanian ethnic traditions are still in the majority, and where the dance house movement has enabled the village to integrate and integrate into the cultural bloodstream of the country.
