You may already know this story, children, of course you do, it's in your reading books, it was in ours. Suffice it to say that our good King Matthias liked to change his image, and dressed up as King Matthias, went about the countryside in disguise, to follow the fate of his people. He taught the wealthy landowners of Rhaetia order and justice, and protected the poor people.
This is what our little story is about. Come and be a part of the wanderings and the deceptive example of the righteous King Matthias!

Kövér Béla Bábszínház
2021-ben a szegedi Kövér Béla Bábszínház 75 éves! Kövér Béla – bábszínházunk alapítója – érettségire készülő, nyolcadik osztályos piarista gimnazista volt, mikor cserkésztársaival (tanári és szülői támogatással) megalakították a Kamara Bábszínházat Szegeden, 1946-ban. Céljuk volt „egy állandó jellegű, nívós bábszínház felállítása Szegeden, melyben a végső fokon is megmarad a meseszerűség”. A műkedvelő regöscserkészek már ekkor célként tűzték ki maguk elé, hogy a városunkban állandó bábszínház létesülhessen. 1964-től a társulat, már Szegedi Bábszínház néven szerepelt.
