2024 Chinese New Year Festival
đČâšâ©The Chinese community of Budapest cordially invites everyone to this year's Chinese New Year celebrations in Chinatown Budapest. The 2024 Chinese New Year Festival celebrating the Year of the Dragon will take place over two weekends. On the first weekend, 28 January, the ancient city of Quanzhou will showcase its rich culture and traditions. đŹđ§ For English version see "discussion".
đ§šQuanzhou, a coastal city in Fujian province, was the premier port and cultural capital of eastern China during the Song and Yuan dynasties (960-1368 AD). It has twenty-two sites on Unesco's World Heritage List and six Unesco Intangible Cultural Heritage Sites such as Nanyin folk music, marionette, and tea-making techniques.
