Kampec Dolores
Kampec Dolores was founded in 1984 by Csaba Hajnóczy and Gabi Kenderesi. Since then, the group has been a constant presence in the Hungarian and international music scene with its unique, acknowledged individuality. Constant in its approach - art rock, experimental, avant-folk, improvisational elements, resistant to categories - and constantly evolving in its members (except for the two founders) and in its sound, the formation has made several defining albums in its almost four-decade career (Kampec Dolores - 1988, Levitation - 1990, Tű fokán - 1993, etc.).
Now they are breaking a ten-year-long silence, with two albums in all. One is a collection of live recordings, the other contains new songs. These will be premiered at the House of Music on 26 January.

Schedule
Kampec Dolores' discography so far includes 11 albums (the last of which, the more improvisational Tema Principale, was released in 2013), on which the wind instruments have always played a major role. István Grencsó has been a member of the ensemble for many years, in concerts, recordings and videos, but we should also mention Béla Ágoston and Balázs Szokolay Dongó. Recently, the trumpet has come to the fore. Márton Udvardi, a prominent member of the young trumpet generation, is not only a novelty in new songs, but also reinterprets the repertoire.
For the January concert, the orchestra is planning a double album release. On the one hand, live material will be unveiled, the best of the repertoire of the band's oeuvre. The material was recorded over four concerts, with Márton Udvardi playing trumpet. The other release will be entitled "I sent a signal to the sky" and will contain new pieces.
