Péter Gémes is one of the few artists whose personality and career have been unanimously praised by art historians and the public alike. His life's work was tragically short, barely two decades, but he still produced a very complex, timeless and important body of work that is still relevant today. Visitors can follow the inner journey of Gémes, from the formative years to the photographic works represented by philosophical reading experiences to the final stage of his faith-filled search for hope. Newer generations will also be able to admire the timeless works of thought and visual brilliance of an artist whose entire oeuvre exemplifies "Ecce homo!"
