Imagine that we are in a forest clearing...in the back there is a small fireplace (Dad used to cook bacon on it on rare occasions, when his busy work schedule allows you to go hiking), on it in a spotted mug, dew-boiled rosehip tea steaming - the best remedy for the morning chill (hah!). The waking birds will be chirping enthusiastically.... In one of the bushes slumbers Luna, the lazy water sprite, who is being brooded uselessly by Kalen, the clever forest elf... Anyone fancy helping Kalen? Shall we sing together "Hail, Sun"? And if we've succeeded, and Luna has finally risen with the rising sun, can we learn to do gymnastics elf-style? Can we get bait for Luna's fishing rod together? catch the world record-breaking big fish? go on a good night animal hunt? and dance till dawn at Kalen's birthday party tomorrow?

If you want to do all that, ask your daddy, mummy, sweet nanny grandma to bring you to the József Attila Theatre performance.

And you, dear Daddy, Mummy, Sweet Nanny Grandma - if you can't choose between a playhouse or a fairy tale performance, combine the two at our theatre, where your child or grandchild can not only be a spectator but also an active participant in the adventures of the two elves.

Location

József Attila Theatre

The József Attila Theatre is a theatre in Budapest, in the 13th district, at 63 Váci út. In 1955 it became the József Attila Theatre. The building was originally intended to be a house of culture, previously it was used as an operetta theatre by the Déryné Stage and later by the Hungarian People's Army Theatre Chamber Theatre. It became independent in 1956.
