Dr. Kotász is an "alt" band from Belpest. Its members first met in the Gitármánia Tábor in Szolnok, far from the safety of the palotanegyed's ruin pubs, and have been actively playing together in this formation since February 2023. At first, they tried to use their satirical lyrics as a curved mirror to the pseudo-intellectuals who philosophised in the cigarette smoke of cafés, but over time they became what they swore against.
