Easter Mushroom Drawing at Normafa
2024-03-29T08:30:00.000Z
Can you hear it??
...
Mushrooms are growing!
And the ankle-branched lettuce buttercups and celtics, the agrotrees and the lush seedlings...
Everything grows into spring. It's time to put on our leisurely walking shoes, our ground-seeing glasses and let's get to it.
Dotya (visual artist (and mushroom inspector pupil)) and Anna (biologist, mushroom inspector, Waldorf teacher) are a team and this time they are waiting for you at Normafa.
We will gather at the visitor centre and then, heading towards the Csacsi Ridge - a relaxed & contemplative hike, nothing too much - we will immerse ourselves in the spring awakening of the forest, and then, on collective and individual journeys, we will put on paper something of what has awakened in Us.

About Mushroom Drawing Tours in general:
Drawing Hikes are communal forest walks where there is time to connect with forest creatures, including FUNGUS, as we not only identify or pick them, but also depict them in some manual way. This also gives us a better understanding of the species that we would walk past and an even greater excuse to spend more time in nature. Plus, our infinite-amazing-every-food-source view of mushrooms can change because we're also careful to hunt with respect for habitats.
The drawing tours are organised by Csilla Hódi, artist/amateur mushroom picker.
Location
Normafa
The capital's most famous hiking spot, Normafa, is named after a tree, as its name suggests.
