Lilla, in her forties, works as a couples therapist and has devoted her entire life to her family. She is therefore completely caught off guard when her husband leaves her for a younger nail technician. Lilla’s daughter, Zsófi, and her mother, Vilma, a once-famous actress, decide to pull her out of her depression and self-pity and encourage her to start dating again. Having not been single for decades, Lilla is reluctant at first and secretly still hopes that her husband will come back to her. Vilma resorts to a little trick: she invites her daughter and granddaughter to their countryside holiday home, where she introduces Lilla to a charming journalist who is writing Vilma’s autobiography. Things become even more complicated when Zsófi’s boyfriend tries to set Lilla up with his outspoken colleague, who unexpectedly shows up and makes the situation even more chaotic.
