THE DUST WORKSHOP #4 - Movement Creation Lab
THE DUST WORKSHOP #4
Movement Creation Lab - Choreographic Tools
with Julien Klopfenstein @ Trafó Studio
A 3-hour workshop for dancers and movers with prior experience, focused on generating, shaping, and composing movement material through improvisation and choreographic tools.

Schedule
WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
This workshop is a laboratory for movement creation and choreography.
Through guided improvisation, imagery-based work, and physical research, you will connect to a movement rooted in your own sensations, impulses, and creative instincts.
From there, we will begin shaping and developing what emerges through compositional tasks. Rather than learning set choreography, you will engage in a creative process: selecting, transforming, combining, and organizing movement into compositional material.
The workshop culminates in the creation of a short group scene built collectively from the movement generated throughout the session, and where you can bring individual ideas into a shared choreographic work.
Open to dancers, movers, and dance enthusiasts with experience who wish to deepen their creative practice and engage with choreography in a group process.
Note: This process will be filmed.
