Ficture’s music builds distinctive, constantly evolving worlds out of sound collages, combining field recordings, digital and analogue synthesizers, instruments, vocal fragments, and reinterpreted samples. His live performances are based on improvisation, using instruments, synthesizers, and effects simultaneously.
His debut album, Roads To Everywhere, was released in 2014 by Lemongrassmusic, followed by the Filled Spaces EP in 2018, which also led to a European tour. Over the years, he has performed at several international festivals, including Sziget, Fekete Zaj, Yaga Gathering, AFO, and Norway’s Midnight Sun Festival.
TUNA
Dear people of Turbina!
Hopefully you’ve already heard, but we’re confirming it here too: for the summer season, we’re setting up on the banks of our most beautiful river as well. Turbina will of course stay and keep spinning on Vajdahunyad Street, but its little sibling, TUNA, can be visited every day beneath Vigadó Square (geolocation here), when the embankment road is closed to traffic.
This means we’re waiting for you on the Pest side of the Danube bank, under the tram tracks – on weekdays between 7 PM and midnight, and on weekends between 2 PM and midnight – yay!
Here’s what you’re in for if you come:
- Inside: a cool lounge area, sofas, colorful lights, a bar
- Outside: seating perfect for soaking up some vitamin D
- The Danube practically flowing right under your feet
- A breathtaking view of the Buda Castle, the Citadella, and the Chain Bridge
- Exhibitions during the day, DJ sets and small concerts in the evenings
