In May, Budapest100 returns to its roots: after a ten-year hiatus, century-old houses will once again take center stage. Organized by KÉK – Center for Contemporary Architecture, this year’s festival will showcase residential buildings and institutions built between 1916 and 1926—including those “birthday celebrants” that were left out in recent years.
The Budapest100 Architecture and Culture Festival,
a celebration of communities and the city, a weekend
that brings city residents and neighbors closer together. On May 9–10, 2026, we will celebrate century-old buildings and the communities that live in them.
